Poocho App for Delhi Commuters

Now travelling in Delhi became more convenient and reliable. Government of Delhi has launched a new app called “Pooch-O”. With the help of this app, you can book autorickshaws on your smartphone. This app enables users to locate autos, fitted with GPS, nearest to them and can also call its driver, whose numbers are registered with DIMTS (Delhi Integrated Multi-Model Transit System). Pooch-O was launched by Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung and is developed by DIMTS. This app can only be downloaded on Android phones through the Google Play Store for free and will soon be available on the iPhone. People have to ensure that GPS of their phone is on and can find out auto nearest to them.

After booking auto by this app, people can share their travel details on Facebook and Twitter so that their friends and family members can get to know about their locations. There are many security elements added to this app. The app will be helpful for women travelling in an auto at night as you can share your travel details with your friends and family. Users can track the auto to check if it is coming towards them or not after calling its driver and if he refused to take passengers then he would be penalised with a heavy penalty. Users can also give their feedback on this app.
